Reusable Safety Trocar
Rotation of the black activation ring does activate the safety mechanism. The obturator slides back and releases the trocar tip when the safety trocar is pushed through tissue. Once pushed through the abdominal wall, the obturator bounces up and locks itself, thus permantely protecting the trocar tip. The systems consist of only four components and can be assembled and disassembled without any tools.
